Born into the Enyiekere Royal Family in Ika Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Chief Saviour Enyiekere stands as a paragon of leadership, intellectual depth, and enduring commitment to national development. His journey, marked by academic excellence and transformative public service, paints the portrait of a statesman whose influence transcends his immediate community.
Chief Enyiekere’s academic journey reflects an enduring thirst for knowledge, culminating in a PhD in Bio-Geography and Environmental Management. His academic pursuits underscore a deep commitment to addressing critical national challenges, particularly in the areas of environmental sustainability and developmental governance.
He first came into political prominence as the two-term Executive Chairman of Ika Local Government Council, where his visionary leadership and people-centered policies transformed the local landscape. Over the years, he also served as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Boundaries and Conflict Resolution, and Board Member, Akwa Ibom State Road Maintenance Agency -appointments that honed his skills in governance, diplomacy, and strategic administration.
A distinguished Fellow of the Nigerian Environmental Society (FNES) and the Chartered Institute of Economists of Nigeria (FCIEN), Chief Enyiekere embodies expertise in balancing environmental stewardship with economic advancement, both critical pillars for national growth and sustainable development.
At the national level, he brought his wealth of experience to bear as Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where he played a pivotal role in policy coordination, legislative affairs, and national governance — reinforcing his reputation for integrity, political astuteness, and unwavering commitment to good governance.
Today, as Executive Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission, Chief Saviour Enyiekere continues to exemplify vision, excellence, and patriotism. In this strategic role, he oversees the vital administrative architecture that supports Nigeria’s legislative institution, ensuring effectiveness, professionalism, and institutional growth.
Overall, Chief Saviour Enyiekere’s life is a compelling narrative of courage, scholarship, resilience, and transformative leadership. HANMATION MARK TERSOO is service driven with problem solving abilities and great commitment to providing workable solutions to identifiable problems to achieve set goals. Born 5th September 1985, in Makurdi, Benue State, his educational journey began at Nativity Private School Makurdi, where he obtained his First School leaving Certificate in 1997. He then attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School, Makurdi, earning his WAEC and NECO certificates in 2003. Mr. Hanmation Mark Tersoo pursued higher education at the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Computer Science in 2014. He also holds a Project Management Professional, (PMP) Certificate and is a Doctoral Fellow at the institute of Political Administration and management. Currently he is pursuing a master’s degree in public administration at the Benue State University.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hanmation Mark Tersoo has demonstrated expertise in Administration, politics, and management. His work experience includes Serving as Director of Administration for the Action congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Benue State from 2012 to 2013 where he worked with Sen. Simon Bako Lalong to coordinate the first membership registration into the All-Progressives Congress and election of the State Executive of the Party. He was subsequently reassigned the same role of Director Administration for the All-Progressives Congress (APC) from March 2013 to June 2015. He was also the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue state on Liaison Matters from June 2015 to April 2018. Mr. Hanmation served as State Organizing Secretary of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State from May 2018 – Oct 2021. He was also Director Youth Mobilization for the North Central APC Presidential Campaign in 2022. He currently serves as Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Political Matters for the North Central region.

Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi stands as one of the Northern Nigeria’s most enduring political figures, having navigated the country’s complex political landscape for over four decades. Born on 17th July 1959 in Hunkuyi, Senator Hunkuyi holds a Bachelor of Education from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He served as a classroom teacher and Headmaster in various primary schools and later, teacher in Teacher Training Colleges in Kaduna State.
Senator Hunkuyi’s transition from education to politics was first as the elected Chairman of Makarfi Local Government Area from 1990 to 1992 after which he was appointed Commissioner of Finance between 1999 and 2002. At the national level, Hunkuyi’s election to the Nigerian Senate in 2015 and during his tenure from 2015 to 2019, he made significant legislative contributions as Chairman of the Committee on Population and National Identity and Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs. His sponsorship of critical bills addressing healthcare reform, arms proliferation, and telecommunications regulations demonstrated his commitment to tackling Nigeria’s most pressing challenges.
Senator Hunkuyi has played pivotal roles in shaping governance in Kaduna State where he served three consecutive times as Director- General, Gubernatorial Campaign Council. He was the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Deputy National Chairman and National Organizing Secretary in 2022, and the 2023 gubernatorial candidate in Kaduna State under the NNPP platform. He is now a pillar of APC in Kaduna State.
He represents the North-West Zone in the Commission.

Born on the 20th 0f June, 1975, Taiwo Olukemi Oluga holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management. Due to her passion for knowledge of and service to humanity, she delved into the study of Social Works where she bagged a Master’s degree and is presently pursuing her PhD in Public Government Leadership from the University of Abuja. She was a Member, Federal House of Representatives, representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, Osun State, from 2019 to 2023. She had previously served as Special Adviser to the Osun State Government on Arts and Culture from 2017 to 2018. In 2013, she became a member of the Board on Rural Development, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Management, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management, a Full Member of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESO) and also a Member of the Malaysia Institute of Management. She represents the South-West Zone in the Commission.

Born on the 1st of March, 1970 in Kudu, Gwarzo Local Government of Kano state, Hon Yusuf A. Tabuka holds a Diploma in Public Administration, Advanced Diploma in Public Administration and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Community Development from the Federal College of Education Kano. Hon. Tabuka is a grass root mobilizer, a political tactician and a business mogul in all rights. He held numerous political positions in the ANPP that later birthed the APC. He was equally a member of the Presidential Campaign Council of the Tinubu/Shettima ticket of 2023 elections where he played a pivotal role to the success of the election. Earlier in 2007, Hon. Tabuka was the Sole Administrator of Gwarzo LGA of Kano State. Hon. Tabuka has equally acquired decades of experience in the business world where he spearheaded a number of manufacturing companies as Chairman. Those businesses have grown tremendously well under his watch. He is happily married with children. Hon. Yusuf Tabuka represents the North-West in the Commission.

Mr. Patrick Giwa, a former Clerk of the House of Representatives in an accomplished bureaucrat and administrator with exceptional skills in human resource management and a proven track record of outstanding achievements and a good close of human kindness. He is a stickler for efficiency and delivery. His ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of subordinates towards achieving organizational goals is enviable.
Mr. Giwa holds an Honours Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA). His 33 years in public service was characterized by excellence in consistently creating a positive and productive work environment.
Born 65 years ago, Mr. Giwa started his illustrious public service career with the Federa1 Capital Development Authority (FCDA) in 1987, as a Master Grade II Officer, working as a classroom teacher and examiner to WAEC. Between 1989 and 1992, he worked with the Code of Conduct Bureau in the Presidency as a Research Officer. He later worked as an Administration Officer in different offices also in The Presidency until 2000 when he was deployed to the National Assembly as an Assistant Chief Admin Officer, from where he rose to the position of Clerk of the House of Representatives (equivalent of a Permanent Secretary), a position he held until his retirement from the Service in 2020. As Clerk of the House, he was the Administrative Head of the Green Chamber, overseeing all the bureaucratic and legislative work of the House.
Apart from his normal schedule of duties, Mr. Giwa also handled many special assignments for the Federal Government. He was Secretary of an Inter-Governmental Committee that looked into the problems of Refugee Camps in Nigeria in 1994, during the period that Nigeria played host to a large number of Liberian refugees. He was also Acting Secretary of the National Commission for Refugees between 1993 and 1994, and Member of a Presidential Inter-Ministerial Taskforce on Country Procurement and Assessment Programme from 1989 to 2000; to mention but a few.
Some of the special assignments he handled while in the National Assembly include: Chairman of a Staff Audit Committee, between 2017 and 2018, and Chairman of the Committee that negotiated with Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) that yielded salary increase for staff in 2019.
Due to his high level of efficiency and productivity, Mr. Patrick Giwa received several commendations and awards from different sectors. During the valedictory session to mark his retirement from the service in 2020, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila had given Giwa a Special Commendation, describing him as a ‘highly efficient and resourceful officer with integrity’. Another former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari had recommended him in 2004 for the National Productivity Order of Merit Award for being the most outstanding Committee Clerk, House of Representatives’.
As a Community Leader, his Local Government, Owan West, is replete with social amenities which he used his positions to attract.
With his huge knowledge and wealth experience in the Public Service, especially in the National Assembly Service, Mr. Giwa is expected to guide the 6th NASC not only to quickly restore confidence and professionalism to the Service but also help guide the Commission on the part of greatness.
He is from Edo State and represents the South-South Zone in the Commission.

Aminu Ibrahim Malle is from Taraba State and was born on September 3, 1969. His career spans public service and academia. He holds a Ph.D. in Animal Production and Management from the Federal University of Technology, Yola (2012), an M.Tech in Animal Production and Management from the same university (2006) and a degree in Animal Science from the University of Maiduguri (1995).
Aminu Ibrahim Malle has authored more than 12 journals/publications, including his Ph.D. thesis on “Use of Browse plants as Basal Diet for Fattening Sheep in Taraba State” and his M.Tech thesis on “Performance of Yankasa Rams Fed on Ficus Sycomorus Supplement with different levels of Maize Bran”.
His achievements have been recognized with several awards including the Commonwealth Leadership Prize for his contribution to Nigeria’s development, the Prestigious Merit Award as the Outstanding Achiever of the Millennium and the Distinguished Service Merit Award for Excellence as Honorable Legislator of the Decade.
Aminu Ibrahim Malle has participated in various training programs, including courses on transformational leadership, conceptual governance and revenue mobilization in the public sector as well as training from the National Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Grassroots Leadership Centre.
He has a good dose of political experience, having served as Member of the House of Representatives representing Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency in the 7th, 8th and 9th National Assembly. He was a Member-Elect for Jalingo I Constituency, Taraba State House of Assembly, Sole Administrator, and later, Chairman, Jalingo Local Government Area; Commissioner of Transport and Aviation & Member, Taraba State Executive Council; S.A. on Local Government Affairs, Government of Taraba State. He was Chief of staff to the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives.
Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Malle held the position of Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives before his appointment as Commissioner representing the North-East Zone in the Commission.

Born on the 7th day of June in 1965, Mary Samuel Ekpenyong is a result-driven Human Relations professional with over fifteen years of experience in Government Policy Coordination, Business Development and Stakeholder management, who also enhances Government Processes and relations.
She is skilled in Leadership Management, an advisory expert in providing strategic and technical guidance and support, project planning management, team and performance management, complex problem-solving and proficient in developing and managing budgets to ensure financial stability and resource optimization.
She served as a special assistant to the Akwa Ibom state Governor on Special Duties from 2015 – 2019 where she was tasked with organizing high-profile events, representing the Governor at public functions, developing and implementing government policies and protocols, coordinated with government departments and agencies aimed at achieving policy objectives.
She worked with the Bureau for Inter-Governmental and National Assembly Relations in 2007 – 2015 where she served as the Representative of the Akwa Ibom State Governor in Abuja coordinating official matters related to politics and economic interests and also ensuring the harmonious well-being of Akwa Ibom state indigenes in the 19 Northern states.
In the year 2007, she was tasked with the coordination of projects, contracts and preparing business plans for Zamama Ventures as the General Manager where she ensured that company policies and legal guidelines were communicated and implemented and made sure business partners and authorities maintained trust relationships.
She is a graduate of the prestigious University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.
She represents the South-South Zone in the Commission.

Ipesa-Balogun, Afeez is a trade union activist, a political gladiator, a comrade, and an accomplished aircraft engineer.
Afeez had always shown deep passion for engineering. His obsession with aircraft led him to study aircraft maintenance engineering at Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, and later at the British Aerospace, Hatfield, in England where he specialized on Corporate Jet-BAe125 (series 1000) and TFE 731Garrett engine.
He has worked with Concord Airlines, Lagos (1989-1991), and has been the Managing Director of Pezolar Nigeria Limited; a Facilities Management and General Contracting firm based in Lagos since 2011 to date. He was a former trustee of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE).
Beyond his passion for aircraft engineering, Ipesa is a people oriented individual. His love for the people drew him into politics, where he served as Honorable Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and contested for the Speakership position but lost with seven votes against the winner, Hon. S. A. Kinyomi, who pulled 23 votes (1992 – 1993) and Executive Chairman, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Council (2004 – 2011).
Earlier in his school days, he held various positions in the Students Union Government, such as Treasurer and then, Speaker, of the Ogun State Polytechnic Students’ Union Representative Council (SRC).
He, however, contested primary elections under the All Progressive Congress (APC) without success on three occasions in 2015, 2019, and 2023 to represent the Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency one (1) in the House of Representative.
As an activist, Ipesa-Balogun, Afeez was a founding member of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) from 1993 to 1998, and he was in the delegation of the first trip of Chief M.K.O Abiola to the USA during the struggle to actualize the annulled June 12th 1993 presidential elections.
He was born on February 10th, 1964, and has held several positions such as President, ROTARACT Club of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria.

Born on the 28th day of February, 1960, Mr Salihu Umar Aboola Balogun hails from Kwara state, He is a graduate of the University of Ilorin, Ilorin. Mr. Salihu Balogun is an accomplished educationist who went through the ranks to become a Principal and a mentor. He has attended various conferences and seminars within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
He has professional Certification from the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and a Senior Member of the Institute of Diplomacy and Management. Mr. Balogun is a member of many professional bodies and an author. He is into Humanitarian and community service currently.
He represents the North-Central Zone in the Commission.

Alhaji Lawan Maina Mahmud, a seasoned administrator and educator, has carved an illustrious career spanning over three decades in public service, education, and traditional leadership. His journey from a classroom teacher to a top-ranking government, politician and revered traditional leader (as he is the BARMA of Borno and Member, Borno Emirate Council) reflects his unwavering commitment to development and governance in Borno State.
Born on 15th November 1961 in Mafa, Borno State, Alhaji Lawan began his academic pursuit at Abba Ganaram Primary School, Maiduguri (1968–1974). He later attended Government Secondary School, Maiduguri (1974–1979), and furthered his education at Ramat Polytechnic (1981–1984) and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1988–1990), where he earned a Bachelor of Education (Technology). He capped his academic journey with a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Maiduguri in 1996.
Alhaji Lawan’s professional trajectory is marked by significant milestones as he began his working career as a Classroom Teacher under the Borno State Ministry of Education (1985–1986) and rose to become a Registrar, Umar Ibn-Ibrahim El-Kanam College of Education, Science and Technology, Bama (2001-2005), Provost of Kashim Ibrahim College of Education (2005–2009), four-time Care-Taker Chairman, Mafa Local Government Area between 2006 to 2009 while still serving as a Provost, KICOE.
He has served in various Ministries and Departments such as Budget and Planning, Commerce and Industry, Higher Education, Local Government Service Commission, Civil Service Commission, Borno State Independent Electoral Commission, and Ministry of Health from where he formally retired from Service.
As a thought leader, he has authored various works. He exemplifies a rare blend of scholarly excellence and administrative relevance. He represents the North-East Zone in the Commission.

Chief Festus Ifesinachi Odii was born on 4th August 1976. He hails from Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.
A graduate of Business Administration from the Onabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Chief Festus Ifesinachi Odii is a consummate business man with interests in oil and gas and several other sectors. He is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the following companies: Odis Global Links Limited, Ogbasco Nigeria Limited, and Town Square Market. He is a Member of the Independent Petroleum Marketers, Downstream and the Chairman of Odis Global Foundation, a philanthropic outfit.
He has been a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management since 2012.
Chief Festus Ifesinachi Odii was the House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, for the Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo Federal Constituency of Ebonyi state.
He is married with children and represents the South-East zone in the National Assembly Service Commission.
